In a desperate attempt to beat Republican candidates in the upcoming elections, "A liberal advocacy group is blaming Republicans for the Ebola crisis in a new ad that will first air on TV in Kentucky next weekend." The ad is set to begin running in Kentucky next week with additional versions being created for Iowa and North Carolina.
With a potential spread of the ebola virus in the United States, the fact that there is a group using this crisis in an attempt for a political advantage is just sad. This is a time that the country should be coming together to show strength, not partisan division.
All that I can to that video is "WOW"!! That is a new low and to use people fears to drive them towards a specific candidate is very sad. It creates a further divide in the American people and also increases their mistrust of the government. Negative campaigning is effective and legal, but this is taking it to the extreme. You're right, this should be a time for bi-partisanship, not a time for political gain.
ReplyDeleteWTH! I have read about this earlier in the week. This is the most dumb, ignorant cow pie thing I have ever heard. Its funny that I read the NIH was spending money on condoms and texting rather than Ebola. Seems they have their priorities in order...but make sure you blame the Republicans. How about shutting the heck up and working together to suspend flights, making our hospitals ready, and keep our exposure to Ebola down. I hope the voters don't fall for that crap.
